Anybody else really glad January is over? Not that it was a “bad” month, but I for one am ready for February. Longer days, and if you’re lucky enough to live in California, the beginnings of spring. I must give a big shout-out to Mitchell Johnson, a very very good painter who shows that it’s ok to put colorful squares directly on the surface of your pictures. I also want to note that this is my second February desktop calendar background, meaning I’ve been at this for a whole year! And to think, every month there’s something weather-related to talk about. You really can’t beat weather for conversation.
