This photo was taken from the High Line in New York City’s Chelsea district.  It was taken in November 2014!! I painted bits of color over the top in six different places.  Can you find them all?

This digital painting is based on a photo I took last month in beautiful Oakland, CA.  The sun was going down and there was a shiny dark blue-grey sky serving as a backdrop for some popping warm colors.  All in all I think it has the feel of fall.

Hello friends and happy September! My very favoritest month of the whole year. I’m so excited for autumn approaching, even though there’s still some summer to enjoy.  Who doesn’t like sweaters and apple pie?!?!

Hello Dear Friends!

Happy August!  I’m on the road making my way North from Paonia, CO up through Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks.  Camping and making great big fires and staying up to watch the stars.  There’s some fine country up here! Here’s a new background for August:
