Hello friends! Happy March! Are you tired of winter? Spring is just ahead…

I’ve been sunbathing in Carmichael, but for all you folks shivering away, there’s light at the end of the tunnel!

This image is from the brand-new monstrosity of Safeway that has sprung up on College Avenue in Berkley. Boy is it big, and like all good grocery stores in an urban environ, it has its own parking garage. I passed the gaping maw and though it might be worth photographing. Note the beautiful Oakland hills in the background.
