April 2012 Desktop Calendar Wallpaper

Spring is really here, ladies and gentlemen. It’s been a wet and wild month of March in Sacramento, but today the sun is shining and the grass is as green as it gets. This month’s calendar features a veritable symbol of spring: the daffodil. And while these particular flowers ain’t yellow, the rest of the colors will hopefully bring some cheer to your desktop.

      Thanks Lucy!

Here are some instructions—let me know if this works!

      1. Click one of the links to open the image full-size in your browser.
      2. On the Safari menu up top, select “File”, then “Save As”
      3. From the pop-up window select first your username (should be on the left under “places”), then select “Pictures”. Save it here.
      4. Open your “system preferences”, which is an application.
      5. Select “Desktop and Screensaver”, then “Desktop”. You should be able to select “Pictures” from the left, and there you’ll find the image.

There really ought to be a more intuitive way to do this!
